You will fall in love with My Digital Studio - and with Stampin' Up!'s colors, punches, designer series papers, ribbons, and embellishments at your fingertips, you'll wonder why you didn't purchase it sooner! Top Note Die Box with Sew Suite!

I am having so much fun with all of the sewing "stuff" in the Occasions Mini Catalog! My stamp camp this weekend is the "So Sweet Sew Suite Camp Wannastamp." This is NOT one of the items we'll be making, but I wanted to share it with you! We made this box when Benedicte had her home workshop and I thought it turned out "sew" cute! I used Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight for the colors. The top and bottom of the box are made with the Big Shot Top Note Die. The directions for the little box can be found under my January 24th, 2010 post where we made a Valentine box out of it! Can't go wrong with a box pattern like this. It suits any holiday or happy occasion! ENJOY!

Note Card Samples!

Several Friday nights ago, I did a community service event with the West Memorial Junior High PTA. I offered six notecards that people could come and stamp to learn more about rubber stamping! We had a WONDERFUL time! I enjoyed the evening so much and we are hoping to do it again this fall. Each notecard offered a different technique with stamping and papercrafting for the new stampers to enjoy. Here are the notecards - they are easy and quick! I used Whisper White Notecards (107311). They come 20 to a packet, are prescored, and ready to go with envelopes! Can't get much easier than that! Melt 3/4 cup butter. Place two tablespoons at the bottom of a 6-1/2-cup ring mold. Dip each biscuit from two packages of refrigerator biscuits in remaining butter, then into a mixture of four tablespoons sugar and three teaspoons cinnamon. Place in mold, overlapping. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Let stand five minutes and turn onto plate. Drizzle with confectioner sugar icing.

Palm Tree Flower!

One of my followers, Susan, requested to see what my palm tree bloom looks like now. This is it! I can't say that it's a "pretty" flower, but this is what it looks like today. Interesting, huh? I really don't care what it looks like - it's more what it represents that makes me happy. SPRING!!!!!! And SUMMER following shortly thereafter! BRING IT ON!

A PROMOTION CELEBRATION!

This is a happy day - we're celebrating Patti Schubert's promotion to a Senior Associate! I don't have a picture of Patti - and she won't let me take one of her - but we're gonna celebrate her promotion anyway! If you met Patti, you would absolutely LOVE her and you would instantly fall in love with her! The thing that I like the most about Patti is that when I'm with her, I feel that I can be totally myself. I feel so comfortable with her and I know she makes everyone feel that way. I think that is a special gift! I know that Patti loves Stampin' Up! She is enthusiastic about Stampin' Up!'s products and she gets the cutest little grin on her face when you talk about cards and 3D projects with her! I wish you could see how precious she is - that little booger won't let me take her picture! I'll have to sneak one in on her at some point! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU, PATTI! I'm so proud of your promotion! You just keep that cute little grin going and you just keep making those cute, cute cards!
